FOOTBALL SQUAD OF BURKINA FESO FOR ORANGE AFRICA CUP OF NATION

The names of the 23 players to represent Burkina Faso in Equatorial Guinea during the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations has finally been released; following a decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) over a Namibia bid to have Burkina Faso kicked out of the competition. Featuring in the squad is Chelsea’s 16-year-old midfielder; Bertrand Traore who stands a chance to become the third youngest player ever at the finals if he plays his country’s opening game of the Nations Cup against Angola in Malabo on Jan. 22.

Sudan coach Mohammed Abdullah Mazda unveiled his 23-player squad for the January 21-February 12 Africa Cup of Nations co-hosted by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon here on Thursday.
