NEPAL FOOTBALL SQUAD FOR SAFF 2011,NEW DELHI

ANFA   organized a press meet on 25 novemeber afternoon and   released  the
squad for the SAFF games to be held at INDIA.Nepal coach Graham Roberts
with his coaching staff finalized the final squad and announced it.Roberts expressed

BARCELONA THRASHED AC MILAN 3-2 IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Barcelona overcame AC Milan 3-2 in a pulsating Champions League encounter on Wednesday night at San Siro, to guarantee top spot in Group H.
The barca took the lead in14th minute from the own goal from Mark van Bommel .The match 
was so competitive that Zlatan Ibrahimovic equalised seven minutes later.After half
an hour penalty was awarded to the visitors in which Messi gave no chance for the opponent
keeper for the save., yet a wonderful individual effort from Kevin-Prince Boateng levelled matters
once again.Finally it was Xavi 's goal which seperate the two teams.it was 3-2 ,when the refree
blew the final whistle.from this victory barcelona are on the top of the group.

AFC PRESIDENT CUP 2012 TO BE HOSTED BY CHINESE TAIPAI

Kuala Lumpur: The Organising Committee for the AFC President’s Cup and AFC Challenge Cup (2011-2015) met for the first time  at AFC House under the chairmanship of AFC Vice-President Ganesh Thapa and decided to award the hosting rights of the 2011 AFC President’s Cup Final Stage to Chinese Taipei.

Neftchi (Kyrgyzstan), Phnom Penh Crown FC (Cambodia), Yadanarbon (Myanmar), Istiklol (Tajikistan), Taiwan Power Company (Chinese Taipei) and FC Balkan (Turkmenistan) have qualified for the AFC President’s Cup Final Stage.

AFC CHALLENGE CUP 2012 TO BE HOSTED BY NEPAL

The three countries Maldives,Nepal and Palestine have shown the  intrest to host
the AFC challenge  cup 2012 .However finally Nepal was awarded the chance
to host the tournament.The three countries expressed an intrest to bid to host AFC
challenge cup 2012  finals.the meeting held today,that is 0n 11/23/2011.decided
to handover the responsibility to Nepal.

The participating countries are the one which are selected from qualifier stage.

Palestine,  Philippines, India, Turkmenistan, Maldives, Tajikistan, DPR Korea

and Nepal have qualified for the tournament proper. the top two teams from each 

group are ligiable for the final round.

 The AFC Challenge Cup is AFC’s second-tier national team completion for the confederation’s developing Member Associations and is played on a bi-annual basis.
